Dealer Notes

Featuring a sleek and sporty exterior, the Nissan 370Z comes available as a coupe or a roadster and is equipped with 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. The taillights on the 370Z have 10 LED lights stacked in a pyramid shape to enhance visibility and you can make a visual statement with powerful LED Daytime Running Lights. The interior features a leather-wrapped steering wheel and an 8-way adjustable driver's seat. Hear the sound of 332hp through a tuned exhaust. Powered by a V6 engine capable of 7500-rpm, the 370Z also offers the choice of either a 6 speed close-ratio manual transmission, or a 7-speed automatic transmission with Downshift Rev Matching. A low center of gravity and a wide stance give it ultra-responsive handling and enhanced cornering. The relatively short wheelbase and overall length of the 370Z make for incredible maneuverability, while 12.6-inch front and rear rotors and calipers ensure maximum stopping power. The NISMO tuned 370Z has been further customized for sportier response. The manual transmission only engine has been tuned to output 350hp while the body has additional aerodynamic work, suspension adjustment, and 19-inch wheels with 14-inch front brakes and 13.8 in the rear. The AM/FM/CD audio system pumps through four speakers and features an auxiliary input to hook up your iPod. The Nissan Hard Drive Navigation System with a 7-inch color touch-screen monitor and voice recognition is also available. Automatic Temperature Control will maintain the climate by automatically adjusting fan speed and climate control. Safety features include active head restraints to help reduce the chance of whiplash injuries and the tire pressure monitoring system ensures maximum tire life by keeping you informed.

  • Nissan 370z: Perhaps the best kept secret

After owning a bunch of sports cars (including a 1990 Nissan 300ZX) until I was a parent, the time finally came to decide upon another sedan in the 20,000+ price range. On a whim, I decided to inquire about used Nissan 370z cars and found an unbelievable deal in early January in another state!! The price was too good to be true, however this was one of those times when opportunity and great timing intersected. I drove the car for 2 hours where it was located (Chicago), bought it and drove it back home to Maryland - what a GREAT DRIVE!! This car has an unusual number of refinements for a sports car, and can be used comfortably as an ever day commuters car as well as a fun performance car to enjoy the 2 lane back roads with. The engine is smooth and has GOBS of power, and the breaks stop the car almost instantly. It took me awhile to get used to shifting the gears, there was a bit of a learning curve for me getting into second gear smoothly. Now the engine just purrs as you go from first to 6th. The ride, while Firm, is less punishing than you would expect from a car with such good performance. The noise level is moderate at high speeds, however that is likely from my tire choice. About the only fault I can find with this car is that you need to get good using the side and rear view mirrors because seeing out of the side pillars is quite limited unless the passengers seat is scooted way forward. There are very few things that will bring a wide smile to your face as quickly as driving this car on a twisty two lane back road. As an interesting comparison, I drove two exotic cars back to back at a friends house then hopped back in my 370z. The cars were a Ferrari, and a Porsche 911. Of course the Ferrari had significantly more power (and noise) and the Porsche was smoother and a much faster car....however I was not disappointed returning to the 370z realizing the cars market value was about 10% of the other two cars driven. Try it...youll LIKE It!!

Only 4 months with this machine, but what a ride so far! A thrill to drive. We get lookers and comments every time we run. Still learning its limits, if there are any. What a true sports coupe. Makes me proud to own. High quality design and build. Impressive fit and finish. Solid. Exceeds expectations. Love my pearl white Z!
  • A drivers car

I purchased the 370Z nismo 2 years ago new. The immediate thought was that it had nothing in common with the 280z I owned in my mid 20s. I loved driving the 280Z and loved the appearance, but the new Nismo is a completely different animal. Although the appearance from the outside has remained true to the Z car heritage the performance is completely different. This is a true drivers car. Nissan through is Nismo division has stiffened the suspension, provided plenty of power, upgraded the wheel and brake package, which includes high temperature racing fluid and lines to reduce brake fade. Under the hood they provided an upper stiffening assembly unifying the strut towers as well as the same in the back with a stiffening bar between the rear shock supports. Additionally they have added dampeners throughout the suspension. As a result everything I love about the car my wife hates. It corners flat, accelerates hard, and can handle extreme driving and gives imput to the driver that its limits are coming before you get there, which is all a driver can ask for. On the inside the Recaro seats are heavily bolstered and the Alcantra leather on them and the steering wheel allow you to be firmly planted. The interior is small and a little difficult for the wife to get in and out of, but thats not why I bought the car.
